This week’s slate of new shows and movies on Netflix ends with the end of the world, stand-up comedy, and reality TV drama. Having said that, this also feels like a week where Netflix says “less is more,” with a chance to catch up on what you’ve been missing.
This week’s major release is White Noise, a Noah Baumbach-directed adaptation of Don DeLillo’s supposedly impossible book to adapt. Adam Driver plays Jack Gladney, whose simple suburban life with his nuclear family is thrown into turmoil by something called an “airborne toxic event.”
Earlier in the week, The Circle Season 5 brought back eight new players to play Netflix’s reality TV game catfishing. New episodes will start weekly.
Also, this weekend is the start of a new month, which means we’ve got a lot of great licensed titles coming to the Netflix library. Our favorites include The Minority Report, Brokeback Mountain, and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Reservoir Dogs.
So, let’s get down to a daily breakdown of what’s new on Netflix this week!
