With only 2023 days left, the WrestleMania season is about to end. While there is a lot of excitement Upcoming WWE events To be excited, it looks like the new year is already off to a rocky start thanks to a reported injury at a WWE house show involving a major superstar. It’s possible that AJ Styles may miss some time moving on, as the star apparently got injured at a house show recently in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
AJ Styles was part of a six-man tag team match with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson against Judgment Day on December 29. According to Side seatsStyles made it past the top rope into the outside of the ring and apparently suffered a leg injury of some kind during the maneuver. PWInsider She stated that AJ Styles’ injury was legitimate and that they were told he thought it was ankle-related. Styles will be looking at the ankle, so at this time, there’s no telling how severe that will be.

Injuries in WWE are never ideal, especially in WrestleMania season. The time from January to April is when many storylines for the mega two-night event are being formed, and the potential for AJ Styles to come out before the start of 2023 could jeopardize any plans for him.
While it’s unknown what WWE has (or has planned) for AJ Styles ahead of the Royal Rumble in January, it’s possible that hinted at plans for the upcoming WrestleMania 39 in early April. Styles has been feuding for most of the past year with the Doomsday faction, so I personally thought Styles’ WrestleMania plans would include a match against Finn Balor or one of its other members.

I don’t know anyone else, but I would have loved to see another match between Cena and Styles at WrestleMania.
We don’t know if or how long AJ Styles could be wasted, but his absence could represent an opportunity for another WWE talent. There is no shortage of rising stars who can use boost and benefit to reach the level spotlight. For now, we can only wait and speculate until we know the extent of the injury and whether “The Phenomenal One” will be back soon, just for a little while, or missing until WrestleMania 39 is over.
