Yu Yu Hakusho has been missing in action, for the most part, since the anime and manga series ended decades ago, with Spirit Detectives making revenue via merchandise and from artwork created by Yoshihiro Togashi. While there’s no news of the shonen series returning with a new movie and/or a continuation of its manga, new Nendoroids are set to arrive next year that will feature two of the biggest spiritual detectives that never happened. Her name is Yusuke Urameshi.
While a new animated series isn’t in the works as far as we know, Spirit Detectives will be back in the future thanks to Netflix, as the streaming service is currently working on a live-action superhero adaptation. The first is Hiei, a former demon slayer who eventually changes sides and becomes one of Yusuke’s strongest allies and human friends. Speaking of human friends, another Nendoroid would be Kuwabara, a former schoolyard bully who finds himself dragged into the world of Soul Inquisitors. Both designs will mirror the appearance of the Shonen heroes during the Dark Tournament Arc, which many anime fans consider to be one of the best tournament arcs in anime history.

Goodsmile will launch the Yu Yu Hakusho The Nendoroids begins next year in June 2023, with Hiei and Kuwabara donning the looks they had as they battle hordes of demons alongside the terrifying strength of the Togoro brothers and their deadly team of brawlers:
We may not be seeing a Yu Yu Hakusho return any time soon when it comes to manga, as creator Yoshihiro Togashi isn’t just working on the world of fishermen in the manga. Hunter X Hunter, but was struggling with health issues that prevented the shonen manga from being released on a weekly schedule. Recently, with the return of Hunter X HunterTogashi was able to give fans a crossover between Yusuke and Gon with a new manga cover that saw the two Shonen heroes side by side.
