Seacrest was discussing broadcasting on New Year’s Eve with us weekly, and spent some time reflecting on the show’s unpredictability, especially when it comes to the weather. When I was with Taylor Swift for a year, it was cold, so I gave her my coat after she just sang and realized I had all my communication equipment attached to it. Therefore, I could not communicate with anyone in the production, which I had not thought of in advance.
On top of not being able to communicate with the production team, Swift also made a surprisingly funny response to Seacrest by giving her his coat. She said:
