New Pro Controller for Xbox Gamers!
The ROG Raikiri Pro is a new licensed Xbox controller designed by Asus, and it’s targeting a launch this year. The controller features a proprietary design with repositionable buttons, multiple operating modes, adjustable joysticks, and various connectivity options.
What sets the Rakiri Pro apart from the Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers is a small OLED screen on top of the console that can play custom animations, the controller’s battery status, and some other information based on user preferences.
The controller also features three-mode connectivity, which allows you to connect it to your gaming rig using a Bluetooth, USB Type-C, or low-latency radio connection. This is indeed an important feature that adds to the portability of the controller, which means that you can easily use it on Xbox consoles, PC, or even smartphones without any concerns about connectivity options.
The console also features a 3.5mm headphone jack, making it easy for gamers to use headphones or headphones with the console. An ESS DAC and mute button are other features on the ROG Raikiri Pro.
While Asus hasn’t revealed the price of the console yet, you can expect it to arrive sometime during the second quarter of this year. Regarding the fact that the ROG Raikiri Pro will be a direct competitor to the Xbox Elite Series 2 consoles, we can expect a price in the similar range to the new Asus console.
It should be noted that ROG Raikiri Pro owners can use the Asus Armory Crate app on PC to fully customize the controller and change some settings or make some modifications to make it suitable for their play style.
The controller has some nice and somewhat aggressive design with the ROG logo on the right side with a gray background and the ROG badge on the left side with a dark background. An RGB colored line divides the two console backs.
ROG Raikiri Pro comes with a special circular D-Pad which can be very useful in competitive gaming when compared to the original D-Pad for Xbox controllers. The console also stores different customization settings in multiple accounts, allowing you to easily switch between them with the press of a button.
