Jorge died killing a hussar in Covenant, Kat was shot in the head by a sniper, Carter died descending on the scarab, and Emile was stabbed in the back. 8 Soap – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
John MacTravis, a recurring character in the Modern Warfare franchise known as Soap, passed away as an honorable soldier. Sensing a trap and an assassination attempt, in the mission set in Prague, Makarov detonates the bomb in the church where Yuri and Soap were covering Bryce with a sniper rifle.
The explosion is devastating, and Soap, in a heroic reaction, drives Yuri away, buying him some time before he eventually dies. Soap, seriously injured by the fall, dies in a heart-rending scene with Cpt. The price is on the deathbed side.
7 Aerith Gainsborough – Final Fantasy VII
Aerith, the last of the Cetra members, is a member of a playable party in the legendary Final Fantasy VII, and her death is perhaps the most famous and well-spoken in video game history.
