Android 13 QPR2 Beta 3.2 is rolling out to fix individual Pixel device display issues

Although it was not fast, the problem was finally solved.

Google is rolling out another Android beta patch pretty quickly as it looks to patch some annoying issues.

The change is posted in Android developers Details of what’s included in the latest Android 13 QPR2 Beta 3.2 patch for those enrolled in the program. Beta testers can now download the release T2B3.230109.009 Pixel 7 Pro owners are encouraged to find a beta T2B3.230109.006.A1 for download.

The new released version fixes an issue where the screens of some Pixel devices would flicker green or might contain other visual elements that don’t belong. Then Google links to a file Version Tracker A thread where users reported several instances of their Pixel device screen flashing green briefly while others experienced lines across their screen. Other reports said that half of its screen would flash green or white, before turning black, and becoming unresponsive. Although the issue is not widespread on many devices, users have been reporting the issue since November 2022. Another user reported receiving this issue after downloading the December Feature Drop stable build.

The other fix included in the QPR2 beta is for the Jio 5G network. This is now supported on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 series.

This patch containing a fix for a very serious display issue comes just two weeks after the Android 13 QPR2 Beta 3.1 patch was released. There were a few minor bug fixes that appeared in this patch, one of which focused on correcting an issue with the Bluetooth module.

Pixel owners who might be interested to see what’s coming in the next feature Drop Drop register their devices (if eligible) and participate in the pilot program. It is important to note that you should backup any phone data before going into any particular Android beta phase. Users can also manually download the current beta phase of QPR2 as well.
