BioWare, Blizzard and Riot veterans launch F2P Co-Op RPG project skywards

The first game from a studio full of industry knowledge and experience.


Elodie Games, a studio made up of industry veterans from notable studios such as Riot Games, Blizzard, and BioWare, has revealed Project Skies, a free-to-play, team interaction, cooperative RPG. In a new press release. It is now also possible for players to register for a chance to participate in Project Skies’ Pre-alpha tests On both PC and mobile platforms.


As a game inspired by League of Legends, Project Skies puts players in command of legendary heroes as they explore a colorful and enchanting world. Featuring an immersive social co-op RPG system, the game offers deep progression and replayability, along with a strong focus on cooperation, and offers casual and competitive modes to enhance friendship and camaraderie.

Project Skies is also designed to be a fully cross-platform gaming experience, using the latest technology and technical guidance to deliver a seamless gaming experience across all platforms, as well as the ability to maintain progress on any platform. Other games that have served as inspiration include League of Legends: Wild Rift, World of Warcraft, Lord of the Rings Online, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age.

Elodie Games is led by Christina Norman and David Banks, two industry veterans with a wealth of experience and accolades. Norman brings her leadership and game design experience honed over 17 years on iconic titles like Mass Effect 1-3 and League of Legends, not to mention her recent role as Design Director for League of Legends: Wild Rift. On the other hand, Banks has a solid track record in both startup and game development as the former Executive Producer of League of Legends at Riot Games.

Another notable person at Elodie Games is Adam Gershowitz, an accomplished executive producer with over 20 years experience developing and launching live service games. Most recently, he served as Director of Production for Overwatch 1 and 2. Jen Ortiz also brings an extensive background in game development, e-commerce, production, and product management spanning more than two decades, thanks to her extensive experience in MMO games and her previous role as Business Director at NCSOFT West.

It’s worth noting that Project Skies game-testing spaces will be limited at first, but Elodie Games plans to increase their frequency and size as the year progresses.
