Google Pixel Buds A-Series leak shows new color, likely related to Pixel 7a and Buds Pro

A new color variant could debut with the Pixel Buds A-Series, along with the Pixel Buds Pro.

We’ve come a long way when it comes to wireless earphones. While you had to sacrifice features in order to find an affordable pair, that’s no longer the case, with plenty of great options now on the market from a variety of different brands. While the Google Pixel Buds A-Series aren’t the best wireless earbuds out there right now, they’re still a great option, with Google continuing to provide support for the earbuds through software updates. While there’s no successor in sight, it looks like Google is preparing a new color option, which could make its debut in the coming months.

According to Kuba Wojciechowski from Twitter, the Google Pixel Buds A-Series will arrive in a new color this year, and they will likely be announced as early as Google I/O 2024. Although there is no exact date for this event, Google I/O usually It is held in May or June. Although a new color may be introduced, it doesn’t look like the wireless earbuds will get any technical changes, as Wojciechowski doesn’t mention any new features or improvements. But there’s nothing wrong with getting a new color, especially when the earbuds are already of good quality.

In addition to sharing some images of what the earbuds could look like, Wojciechowski also followed up with some details on the color, and how it might also be coming to the Pixel Buds Pro. The Pixel Buds Pro are currently Google’s top model, offering great sound and active noise cancellation. What makes this information even more interesting is that the new headphone color could coincide with the launch of the Pixel 7a, which may also come in a similar blue colour. Of course, these are just small parts of Wojciechowski, so there’s always the possibility that something could change.
