Fire Emblem: The Clash It is the latest entry in the Fire Emblem series released for Nintendo SwitchThis game brings a huge cast of colorful characters to Fire Emblem’s turn-based strategy RPG. With many classes, skills, upgrades, and ways to get the perfect team, Fire Emblem: Engage takes a lot of understanding of mechanics and upgrades. With the long story and many chapters, there is plenty of time to put together the perfect team.

All of these personalities create hundreds of ways to put together a team, some powerful and some not so strong. Making sure that your team is the strongest in battle can save the character from death while running. Not even the strongest warriors could transcend regions just by themselves. In Fire Emblem: Engage, the melee mechanic is introduced. Teaming up with a character from the past, a more powerful attack is launched on the enemies through the combined force. This creates new possibilities for strategies and mechanics.

Who is Panet?

Bannett talks about ghosts in Fire Emblem: Share

Bannet is a royal knight whose origins are in Solem. It is the retainer for Timerra. She is first seen in Chapter 13: Heroes of the Oasis and joins the team in that chapter. She is Pandrio’s little sister and she ran away from her home. She appears fair and polite despite her eccentric interests, hiding her brutal past that can only be seen in the heat of battle.

Base building and stat growth

Bannett falls into the Berserker category. She can get critical hit bonuses, starts with an axe, and comes with great strength stats. She lies in the reserve class, which means she won’t do anything in front of the battle. Even more useful from a distance, her great strength and skills make her a good character to fall back on if anything should happen.

The best stats for Bennett going up are HP and Strength. This helps her destroy the enemies around her while being able to deal some heavy blows and support her teammates. Being a backup, strength stats are important to keep track of. She is the best with high strength to better support her teammates. It’s best to keep tabs on all of her stats as a whole to give a balanced backup to the team, but don’t aim to make all stats the same. The Berserker class will keep its stats within its class, which means increased strength and decreased magic.

Good ranks for Panet

Bannett dressed as a Berserker class in Fire Emblem: Engage

You will join her main class, the Berserker class is what you will mainly qualify for. With high crit, axe, and increasing strength. Her speed is high enough to slash enemies twice, she can pack heavy punches.

Recommended Banners for Berserker Panette:

  • Marth provides a safe way for Panette to fight back. With less chance of getting hit, Panette can land double and critical hits and is able to make it mostly scrapes. He also provides relentless favors, and she, should she ever find herself in failing health, Bannett will continue to live using this ability.
  • Using Lyn as a logo allows for a very high speed. Tact makes her so she can attack before her opponents do. Speedtaker is as the name suggests, Panette gains speed as the fight goes on. This and her other ability can definitely make her the fastest on the team.
  • Ike can grant her attack power to crush anyone around her. Without barbs, the enemies around her would still be hit hard.
  • Liv makes sure that if Bannett is weakened, she can attack first. This will help her defeat an enemy if she is about to die.

Bannet makes a Berserker powerhouse for any team, but the weapon she has is also important. Killer ax increases the chance of critical factors. Brave quadruples its power, making it easier to sweep through enemies. The Silver Greataxe can help drive enemies out of position and is a powerful fighting option. The hammer can knock over armored enemies, making it easy to hack through those in armor without worrying about having to fight them longer and risk more damage. Fragarach is a great pick, but it’s only obtained later in the game.

Panette is in the Wolf Knight class in Fire Emblem: Engage

A Wolf Knight option is also available for Panette to slide into. Giving her more speed and the chance to land more critical hits helps a lot.

Lyn would be the best emblem to use for the Wolf Knight and Panette class, as her increased speed is very useful in the Wolf Knight role. Other banners would also make for nice upgrades, but they can’t be used as often as Lyn.

Killer Ax and Hammer will also fit Panette, even in Wolf Knight. However, weapons such as the Silver Dagger and Peshkatz will also work. Peshkatz is a dagger that is used in close combat. Keep this in mind when equipping your Peshkatz with Panette or any Wolf Knight.

Bennett is in the hero class in Fire Emblem: Engage

The hero is a role that Bannett could fit in as well. This gives her better dexterity, speed, and defense. Being faster in combat is always a plus in difficult situations.

Lyn is another good choice for the hero role. Having a good speed is always a plus. Marth will make her more elusive and Erica will allow her to crush enemies with high defense. Both can be used in good ways with both Panette’s abilities and hero role in mind. Roy will work too, just be careful to avoid the -20 gained when using Ax Power.

Using a hand ax is a good way to do a ranged battle with Panette. The Brave Sword is something Panette wouldn’t hurt to own either, as her power status is buffed up at a rate that makes it work.

Bennett is in the Warrior class in Fire Emblem: Engage

With a role like Berserker, the Warrior class can also come in handy. With this must come better dexterity, speed, and defense, along with the use of bows. This can help eliminate any flying enemies on the battlefields. For what she loses in that high strength she has as Berserker, she makes up for in other augmentations in the Warrior role.

Using Marth helps gain avoidance, which can be useful when getting past enemies. Besides, Lin, as usual, gives more speed in battle. Lucina will give Panette the skill, allowing her to hit more critical points on opposing enemies.

A silver ax is always a solid choice, but being a warrior also unlocks the ability to use certain bows. This can come in handy with Bannett being a fast fighter. The Killer Ax for Panette is always a good choice for her to beat in the majority of classes she can get.

Bennett’s gift

Bennett and Goldmarie speaking in Fire Emblem: Engagement

To get Bannet to a higher level, giving her the gifts she loves will be much appreciated by her. It will raise its stats, and make it stronger. Only her favorite items will give the biggest boost.

Bennett’s favorite items:

  • Sharp chisel
  • Butterfly Network
  • Multi-use knife
  • fancy dagger
  • Antler earrings
  • hot spices
  • Field guide
  • Scary scroll
  • Soul gem

Panette won’t like Cute Apron, Daisy, Bear Carving, or Big Board items. She enjoys cooking different things although she’s not the best at it so some cooking items like hot spices will work for her.
