XDA Forums presents OpenAL, the world’s first AI-powered forum moderator

AI is here to stay, and XDA is one step ahead of the curve.

Although we only allow human-written articles on XDA Developers, moderating the forum is a different story. But that changes starting today. We’ve teamed up with the brightest minds in the machine learning industry, and after months of development, we’re proud to present the world’s first AI coordinator: OpenAL.

As you’ve seen in the news lately, AI is here to stay. As the world’s leading technology and news site, our forums cannot be left behind in this world. To that end, we put OpenAL through rigorous testing on a wide variety of common situations on the XDA forums. It will be given more autonomy gradually, step by step, into an automated future.

We plan to release the source code for OpenAL shortly after launch so that our entire developer community can work with us on making this not only the first but also the best in AI modding technology. Are you interested in becoming a part of the history of technology? Send a message to OpenAL with your thoughts.

Possible hiccups in the launch

When these new technologies are released to the public, some early bugs may occur, so if you think our digital medium is behaving erratically, be sure to report the respective posts using the report button below the post. Our human moderators will, of course, be on hand to help and our entire team will be keeping a close eye on OpenAL’s first steps in the world.

This is a really exciting day for all of us, and we’d love you to be a part of it. Be sure to find a high-tech friendly broker in your neighborhood and say hello. To all the spammers and trolls out there we say: Watch out because OpenAL is coming for you!
