Collecting your favorite character throughout the game is a very interesting experience, however, characters can be taken out of battle so they don’t come back. It’s important to have the right build to keep your hard-fighting favourites.

Each character has their own abilities, stats, and starting class. These classes can be changed and come with minor stat changes. Although the changes aren’t huge, this means that not every character can fit perfectly into every class. It can be difficult to find the right classes, gear, and stats for each character. With this said, each gear has its own stat that must be chosen to fit the right personality, or it will end up lopsided. Especially with weapons that can be quite heavy with light characters, making them slow compared to the rest of the team.

Base building and growth

Jade is in Cutscene in Fire Emblem Engage

Jade started out in the Ax Armor class, with an armored fighting style. Her personal skill is meditation. This means that if she were to use wait in battle without attacking or using any items, she would be rewarded with two resistors per turn. Due to Jade’s status as an armored fighter, she is immune to crashing on the battlefield. Jade is best paired in any class with those who may have lower defense, higher offense, and speed. A character that Jade can support with her high defense, health, and average strength.

Her highest stats are her health, speed, strength, and defense. This makes her a very useful team member and great for standing up for others. Take advantage of that high health. Jade can cover and hit enemies. Her speed might not start out at the highest in her base stat, but with a growth rate of 35%, she’ll catch up in time. With these speed stats, Jade can quickly enter the battlefield to help others who may need it. Its chassis is pretty low-key, and it doesn’t start too bad. While it’s not the worst build stat, it’s best not to give it too heavy weapons and have a character with a high build on the team wielding those heavy weapons.

The best jade classes

Jade in the General Fire Emblem class engage

Jade is better off switching than using an axe class. This gives her better weapon options along with better use of her stats. Being a general allows her to achieve this. This will use this defense, along with giving her a slight HP boost. While this wouldn’t be the greatest defense against magic that might stand in her way, it’s a good idea to protect those she needs from most physical attacks. Taking someone with a higher magic base would be beneficial with Jade in General Class, as it would cover that magic gap it couldn’t cover.

Logos are recommended:

  • Ike can bring Ax Power and Resolve. The power of the ax is self-explanatory, it increases its power when using axes. Resolve only happens when Jade is left with the last quarter of her health. This will give her a massive boost in her defense and resistance, but only while she’s in the final quarter. Once its health is restored above that mark, it will no longer get the boost.
  • Corrin can give HP, being practically necessary to get high HP in the general category. The extra health will do nothing wrong for Jade.
  • Roy comes into Hold Out, which is a very useful skill. This keeps her alive if she gets hit to the point of being hit. With her reduced resistance against those with anti-armor or magical weapons, this character can keep Jade in battle when she could have been defeated previously.
  • Micah gives a lot of resistance, very good for jade and any general. This resistance is crucial against those who might attack with magic or very powerful offenses.
  • Lyn has Alacrity and Speedtaker, which are useful for giving her that extra speed against her opponents. Jade has an average speed, but increase it to make it fast and the tank won’t miss it.

Silver Ax is always a good rule of thumb to get its payout, and it doesn’t have any big ups and downs. While the Tomahawk can be used to fight away, this can be used to avoid certain attacks that Jade will not execute well. For strikes, it can tank for the team, the Tomahawk is not recommended. The hammer can hit enemies wearing armor, which is useful for reducing the defense they have with that armor. Brave Ax works well to make Jade faster than opponents.

Jade as Wyvern Knight in Fire Emblem Clash

Being a wyvern knight might be an odd choice for a normally land-borne knight, but she can make a powerful flying unit. This gives her a great deal of mobility along with avoiding a lot of the physical aggression she would get on the ground. It’s not the best rated flying unit but it could get the job done just fine if there was no one else to fill the role.

Logos are recommended:

  • Lynn with her speed abilities might be useful to Jade in this class. Being in the sky, it could be vulnerable to air attacks like crossbows. This gives it leverage against it, as well as opening up opportunities to attack first.
  • Marth comes with Avoid and Sword Agility. Avoid as it seems, providing her with elusive odds. Sword Agility As it seems, she brings a nice boost because she wields swords. This gives her more avoidance.
  • Alternatively, if Jade were to use a spear, Eirika could cover that side’s agility.

The silver sword and ax start again as a good base for the jade to begin with. Besides, the Tomahawk and harpoon can be used to attack from great distances. Greataxe can help by being more powerful than Silver Axe and Sword, however it won’t grant any boosts from Math or Eirika.

gift jade

Jade is in Cutscene in Fire Emblem Engage

Whether it’s unlocking scenes, leveling up your Bonds, or getting extra motivation from Jade, the gifting mechanic can be used to enhance that. Each character has their own unique favorites and dislikes that can be gifted with different effects. He hates doing nothing, while his favorites are reinforcing the most. Their preferences depend on their personality.

Jade’s favorite is:

  • Muscle balm
  • Poetry book
  • Fairy tale book
  • Elios history
  • Field guide
  • Butterfly Network
  • Sunscreen
  • Bear carving
  • Soul gem

Every character will appreciate Spirit, regardless of their preferences. Jade has four dislikes, which are strong perfume, a good handkerchief, playing cards, and a pretty candle. Giving her these items will not boost any stats and the gift will be wasted.
