According to Mark Gorman of bloomberg, He believes the Apple Watch is due for a much-needed update. Now, most of the time we’ve been talking about hardware, and Apple updates its watch pretty much every year, but over the past few years, the company hasn’t really advanced its wearables in terms of software hardware, all of that says Gurman. that this year will be different, and that the next watchOS update will be “a fairly comprehensive upgrade.”
And as far as can be expected, Gurman stated that there will be “notable changes to the user interface”. Of course, there aren’t any details listed, but watchOS has been relatively the same for many years, so a software update would be a big deal if and when it does launch. Now, if you’re someone who’s been waiting for a massive hardware change, you’ll have to be patient for a bit, as apparently, a major update isn’t planned until 2024. Gurman states that with this update, smartwatches will get bigger screens, but doesn’t reveal any another thing.
Apple has announced its upcoming WWDC event on June 5, 2023. The event will be aimed primarily at developers, but the company has been known in the past to also announce flagship devices at the event. As rumors swirl about what could appear, one of the most anticipated devices is Apple’s mixed reality headset. This product will be a huge release for the company, as it tries to establish itself outside of smartphones, computers and tablets.
