Jujutsu Kisen Chapter 221 begins right after Yuji and Yuta have come up with their plan to go ahead with the final stage of Culling. Kenjaku gets to where the only way this is going to end is for every other fighter but he and Sakuna die so Yuji’s team is running out of options as to how to actually proceed. This included saving Gojo, who was finally freed from the prison kingdom’s seal thanks to the power of Hana Kurusu and Angel.
With Gojo finally freed from the Prison Realm, he immediately jumps back into the Fighting Center where he directly challenges Kenjaku the first chance he gets. Heading to Kenjaku, he also encounters Sukuna and prepares for the final battle between the two of them. But knowing who he’s up against, Gojo then asks to move the date of their last fight to December 24th to better prepare for what’s to come. So it wouldn’t be long before their long feud came to an end.
