What happened back on Demon Slayer?

Demon slayer season 3 episode 10 release schedule

Muichiro confronted Gyokko, and the demon mocked Hashira, but Muichiro remained confident in beheading him. When Gyokko unleashed the Blood Demon Art, releasing ten thousand deadly fish, Muichiro quickly cut through the fish attack. Amazed by the hashira’s speed, Gyokko still thought the paralyzing poison might work on Muichiro, but he redirected the poisonous cloud by swinging his blade at high speed and attempted to decapitate Gyokko. However, Satan shed his skin and disappeared. Frustrated, Muichiro tells Gyokko to stop dodging, only for the demon to reveal its true form, escalating the battle.

Gyuko flaunted his new translucent scales and turned around with his skills as he attacked. Muichiro dodged Gyokko’s attacks and mocked his transformation. As the battle intensifies, Gyokko reveals his ability to turn anything he touches into a fish, even turning part of Muichiro’s clothes into a fish. In a small flashback, we saw Muichiro’s past and his relentless training fueled by his deep anger. Facing Gyokko, he unleashes Mist Breathing Seventh Form, confusing Gyokko about his exact location within the mist surrounding the area. We soon see Muichiro decapitate Gyokko, putting an end to his life.

The scene then moved to the battle with the Hantengu, and we saw Tanjirou facing off the wooden dragon and narrowly avoiding its attacks. Banging a drum, Zohakuten let out a sonic shriek that incapacitated Tanjirou and left him vulnerable. Nezuko and Genya also struggled against dragons. Tanjiro, unable to use breathing techniques due to his injuries, manages to evade the dragons. However, the dragon strikes again, trapping Tanjirou in its jaws, but Mitsuri arrives just in time and saves him. At the end of the episode, I got ready to face Zohakuten.
