Baldur’s Gate 3 is a very in-depth game that goes well beyond the flashy main story. Each region contains many different NPCs to interact with, many giving side quests that tell their individual story in the greater world.

While much of this bonus content is easy to find, small creatures and the most random items can provide unique interactions for those who know what to do with them. This further rings true for the Dog Collar found in the Underdark; here’s what players need to do once they find it.

Where To Find The Dog Collar

Sussur Tree Glyph & The Player Inspecting The Tombstone

To find the Dog Collar, head to the Underdark – Sussur Tree fast travel point. From here, travel south until you reach the edge of the plateau you’re standing on. You will soon see a small stone tombstone that can be interacted with. Your only option will be to dig up the body, eventually revealing the bones of a dead dog and its left-behind collar. There are no negative effects to digging up this grave, and surprisingly none of your companions have a stance on you choosing to dig it up or not.

How To Use The Dog Collar

Arcane Tower Location On The Map & The Dog Collar Button

After obtaining the dog collar, make your way to the Arcane Tower in the Underdark. You’ll first need to activate the elevator in the Arcane Tower and use it to travel one floor higher. This floor will have a bed in one corner and most of the floor missing. Head over to the northeastern corner of the room, and equip the Dog Collar as an amulet on whichever character you are controlling. Closer to the ground in the corner will be a button that, when pressed by someone wearing the Dog Collar, will produce food in the bowl below. This can only be done once and provides an item of food, and doesn’t have any other uses beyond this easter egg.
