Here players will see more influence of the Cult Of The Absolute and will also find people hiding beneath away from the cult. Towards the middle of the sewer will be a skeleton missing its head with the ability to insert something onto the skeleton; here’s what you’ll first need to find.

Where To Find Sarin’s Skull

Sarin's Skull Location On Map

To complete this puzzle, players will need to explore the sewer in order to find the Skull to fit on the skeleton. Sarin’s Skull can be found at coordinates X:-156 Y:945, behind the mute merchant. The Skull is located in the pouch on the back right floor of the alcove behind the merchant, and he won’t like you riffling through his stuff. You’ll need to either kill the NPC, who is very weak as is, or go behind him and enter stealth. Entering stealth is the easier option that also doesn’t involve murder, as the NPC won’t search for you or turn around.

After obtaining the Skull from the pouch, a headless ghost will appear and follow you back to the skeleton. Return to the skeleton and open up the menu by interacting with it while also opening up your inventory. Drag the Skull over to the open slot to place the Skull on the skeleton and complete the puzzle.

Rewards For Completing The Skeleton

Magic Amulet In-Game Description

Completing the skeleton will reward players with a rare Magic Amulet and 250 XP for each party member. This Amulet gives Innate Fortitude, letting players use a reaction to make an Attack Roll or make a Saving Throw with Advantage once per long rest. This reward is best used on a melee-oriented character but may be difficult to use so late in the game as other more powerful amulets are available in other sections of Act 3.
