What Is The Cargo?
Your spaceship will have a ton of cool features that make the game worthwhile. You’ll be able to build your dream ship to fly around the universe. However, in order to create the perfect spaceship, you will need some resources. Since your character doesn’t have a ton of space in their inventory, your ship offers the perfect place to store items until you need them to sell, build Outposts, Research projects, etc. This is where the cargo bay comes into the picture. This is the area of the ship that holds these items. Unfortunately, you will have an extremely limited cargo space to begin with. This means that you will want to upgrade it as soon as possible.
How Do You Upgrade The Cargo Capacity?
In order to upgrade your cargo capacity, you will need to upgrade your ship. To do this, land on any planet with a large city (such as New Atlantis, Neon, or Akila). From there, you should see a ship technician or ship store near the landing pad. If you speak to that person, you can ask to modify ships. Then you will need to select the ship you want to modify. From there, you will see the option to add parts to it. You will want to navigate to the cargo section and find the best cargo bay for your ship. You can then add it to the spaceship.
You can also increase the cargo space by using the Skill Payload. Sam Coe is one of the companions you can find that has this Skill, something that is extremely vital to your ship. You can also get ships that are meant to hold cargo. These ships can be ships like the Space Ox, Renegade III, Vanquisher III, or the Dullahan III.
Where Can You Find The Cargo?
If you’re looking for the cargo section of your ship, you will need to head to the cockpit. The exact location will differ depending on what ship you have. However, you will always find it on one of the walls in the cockpit. You will also always see the word cargo above it.
