There is more to a game than its main form of gameplay. This often takes the form of mini-games within Insomniac’s latest title. A very common mini-game option is to add Puzzles. This can help give players a greater sense of reward when overcoming a minor additional obstacle in order to progress.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 features a plant tile arrangement mini-game. They will start off very simple but will later come in the form of devilishly complex puzzles.
How To Solve Hybrid Calibration Puzzles
In the game, you will find many puzzles where you will need to arrange hexagons with icons on them. You will find a group of hexagons at the bottom of the screen, and then a field above them where you can place these tiles. You will see there is an icon in the middle of each hexagon, but also there will be connectors on each side of the hexagon tiles. You will get 3 puzzles in the form of a tutorial on how to solve these puzzles. Below is the solution to each of the three tutorial puzzles. We also explain why the solutions work.
First Puzzle
This is a straightforward one, 3 tiles all touching. To solve it, take the tile with white lines on the top of it and place this tile on the bottom field spot. Take the tile on the right and place it on the top left. Place the last tile on the remaining empty spot. This way, all the white lines connect up.
Second Puzzle
This one is more tricky. You will see the symbols are now all different, and the shape above now has a central spot that all the other tiles will need to hook into. Place the bottom Leaf tile in the center of the spot on the field above. Connect the Water tile to the bottom, the Sun tile to the right and the remaining Leaf in the remaining spot. This solution works because all the connectors line up without any special requirements.
Third Puzzle
The final puzzle in this tutorial will look like a “J” shape, and will have a special requirement that you need to use at least 1 Leaf tile, 1 Sun tile, and 1 Water tile. Place the bottom Leaf tile at the bottom of the “J” shape, followed by the second Sun tile, then the Water tile on the right, the remaining Leaf tile, and then the remaining Sun tile.
