Super Mario RPG is a classic JRPG-style game using the Super Mario IP from Nintendo. It serves as a Nintendo Switch remake of the original Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars that was originally released on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
The Game features plenty of amazing pieces of gear and weapons to tweak and modify the stats of the various playable characters — such as Geno and Mallow. You will also need to gain levels through gaining experience, which means you may want to get as much as you can using the Exp. Booster. Which will double the experience of any character that has it equipped.
How To Get The Exp. Booster
The Exp. Booster is an accessory item that a character can equip. You can get this item by purchasing it from a specific merchant. To find this merchant, you will need to head to Seaside Town. Once you travel to Seaside Town, run between the wooden welcome sign that looks like an anchor and a bush with pink flowers. You will pass 3 doors on your left side and see some stone stairs you can run up. Once you make it to the top of these stairs, you will see some more stairs on the left side. Run up these stairs, and you will see a house on the right — go through the door to enter this house. Once inside, you will see some wooden stairs opposite the door you came in through — go up these stairs.
Up here you will find two beds and a frog sitting at a table. Speak with the frog to see all the wares of the Frog Coin Emporium. Press the R button to switch over to the accessories page where there will be 3 items. The Exp. Booster for 22 Frog Coins, the Coin Trick for 36 Frog Coins, and the Flower Ring for 50 Frog Coins. Select the Exp. Booster and spend 22 Frog Coins to purchase it. It will then ask you which character you would like to equip it to. You can select one of your characters now, or you can select no one to put it in your inventory for later.
