10 Riot Shield

Perfect For Reducing Incoming Damage

The Riot Shield is an unlikely contender on this list because it is near useless for taking out Zombies and other threats. However, the Riot Shield is quite literally the only weapon that provides an extra layer of protection from incoming damage. When unequipped, the Riot Shield will more than take the pressure off by protecting you against pursuing Zombies and Hellhounds – making it a great option to carry alongside a weapon that sports a high level of mobility.

The level of protection the Riot Shield offers, along with the amount of melee damage it can dish out, are also two attributes you can improve when Pack-A-Punching it. The only real downsides the Riot Shield has are its inability to do any meaningful damage to high-level enemies, along with the fact that it drastically reduces your movement speed when equipped.

9 Longbow

Great For One-Shotting Base Level Enemies

Sniper Rifles are arguably the most under-utilized class of weapons in Zombies, largely because spraying and praying is generally a better strategy for taking on hordes of the undead. However, the Longbow is an exceptional rifle that can perform incredibly well when upgraded and Pack-A-Punched accordingly.

The main perks the Longbow has over other Sniper Rifles are its high magazine size and fast fire rate, making it a decent consideration for taking down base-level enemies in the high-threat zone, and the Dark Aether. While speed and range are two of the Longbow’s strong points, we suggest building this weapon to improve its handling, as doing so will make it that much better.

8 Holger 556

Best Weapon For Almost Any Situation

The Holger 556 is one of the most used Assault Rifles in Modern Warfare Zombies right now, due to its exceptional level of handling, moderate accuracy, and high damage. Though our main go-to build is definitely on the slower side, you will still find yourself moving and aiming down sights faster than other weapons in the Assault Rifle and Light Machine Gun category.

While the high damage output is one of the Holger 556’s most redeeming qualities, throwing on an extended magazine attachment and Pack-A-Punching it will also boost its magazine ammo capacity considerably. As a result, you will find yourself well-equipped to take out even the most difficult of bosses.

7 Tonfa

Capable Of Cheesing The Hardest Bosses

The Tonfa may not seem like a viable weapon to use in Zombies, but those of you who have tried it out in-game may have witnessed just how strong it can be. The Tonfa is one of many melee weapons, and isn’t particularly special at its base rarity. However, when Pack-A-Punched accordingly and upgraded with Aether Tools, it is fully capable of one-hit killing Zombies in higher threat zones.

Many players are also using the Tonfa to make short work of the Storm Caller, one of the hardest bosses in the game. The only major disadvantage of the Tonfa is that you need to be really close to your enemies to use it, which can result in a few instant downs if you are dealing with hordes of Zombies in the Tier III Zone.

6 XRK Stalker

Great For Taking Out Mega Abominations

The XRK Stalker is one of the more surprising weapons on this list, as Sniper Rifles are not generally favored when it comes to Zombies. However, this particular Sniper Rifle is a great option for those of you looking to take on bosses in the Tier III Zone, or within the Dark Aether.

The XRK Stalker deals immense damage when upgraded significantly with the Pack-A-Punch, and is generally quite useful for taking out high-tier enemies like the Mega Abomination. 5 Lockwood 680

Best One-Shot Weapon Against Zombies

The Lockwood 680 has quickly become one of the best weapons to use as an Insured Weapon in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies. Though Shotguns are an underused class of weapons in this particular mode, the Lockwood 680 is a great option to take with you into the high-threat zones.

Running the above build, paired with a Rare Aether Tool, and a Tier I or II Pack-A-Punch, provides a consistent one-to-two shot kill on Zombies within the Tier III Zone. The damage output also translates very well to enemies like the Mega Abomination, making it an invaluable asset among accurate players.

4 TYR

Exceptional Close-Range Support Weapon

Our above TYR build is currently plaguing Warzone as one of the most broken weapons in the game. Though the meta is vastly different in Modern Warfare Zombies, this nifty revolver is still a great option to use – even with the recent damage reduction nerf it received.

The TYR, when paired with the 12.7x 55mm Snake Shot Rounds, the Akimbo TYR Rear Grip, and Pack-A-Punched accordingly, deals immense damage to even the strongest of enemies. The only downside of the TYR is its small magazine size, as it is one of the few weapons that does not receive an ammo capacity buff when Pack-A-Punched.

3 PDSW 528

Boasts High Damage & Ammo Capacity

Though the PDSW 528 is one of the more overlooked weapons in Modern Warfare 3, it is one of the best options to consider for Zombies. The PDSW 528 sports an exceptional level of handling, and a decent fire rate, along with boasting a large magazine size by default. However, the real benefits of this Submachine become more apparent when you Pack-A-Punch it.

When Pack-A-Punched, the PDSW 528 receives a drastic increase in ammo capacity from 50 rounds to 400, along with a significant damage buff. The PDSW 528 is arguably one of the top guns to consider as your main go-to weapon, and currently has very few drawbacks that can’t be mitigated with the right build.

2 Crossbow

Makes Short Work Of Bosses

The Crossbow is a nifty Marksman Rifle that fails to compete in the meta for Multiplayer and Warzone, but is exceptionally strong with the right build in Zombies. When Pack-A-Punched, the Crossbow has a major damage increase and is also capable of firing 3 bolts, instead of the default mag size of just 1.

Pair this with the Brightblaze 20” Bolts, and the Crossbow is capable of eliminating Manglers, Mimics, Disciples, and even Mega Abominations with ease – due to the immense incendiary damage the bolts deal over time. The only real downside the Crossbow has is its small magazine size, along with the damage reduction it received in a recent update.

1 WSP Swarm

Lightweight SMG Boasting Great Damage & Handling

The number one best weapon for Modern Warfare Zombies has to be the WSP Swarm, an exceptionally light-weight Submachine Gun. The WSP Swarm is by far one of the best SMGs to run as a close-range support weapon in Warzone and Multiplayer, but it is also perfect in Zombies for a few key reasons.

Firstly, it sports a high damage output when Pack-A-Punched and paired with the WSP Akimbo Brace Stock, largely down to its high fire rate. The WSP-Swarm is also lightweight, keeping your movement speed high for staying on the move and avoiding those pesky hordes of Zombies.
