DD2 will provide players with various resources they can spend on different items. Some will be spent on getting weapons and armor, while others will be dedicated to aspects relating to your Pawns. Something you may be interested in getting your hands on will be different colored dyes.

How To Get Dyes

Firstly, you will need to progress the game until you arrive in Bakbattahl. Once you arrive, you can head on over to the Pawn guild. This is a guild that can offer you a treasure trove of items provided you have the Rift Crystals to afford them. This includes getting your hands on 5 different kinds of dyes for 500 Rift Crystals each.

You won’t use any of these dyes at this location and will need to go over to the Barberie in the center of the town. Speak with the NPC inside and the dye will be removed from your inventory and now allow you to change your hair color — at the cost of 10,000 G.

You can also purchase the Art of Metamorphosis for 500 Rift Crystals before you set off for the Barberie. This will allow you to change the cosmetic appearance of your Pawn.

Do You Get Armor Dye

Dragon's Dogma 2 Dye Colors

Unfortunately, dyes in Dragon’s Dogma 2 are hair dyes, and not armor dyes. Players hoping to change the colors of their various pieces of armor will not find any such dyes. The game does not even feature any form of Transmog system in place. This means players will be aesthetically stuck with the games armor as they are — with no customization options available.

You will have covered a lot of ground in the game by the time you get your hands on some dye, so you may be interested in unlocking all the Vocations you may have passed by so that you can rank them up.
