Dragon’s Dogma 2 features a large variety of quests for players to explore. Some can offer some of the best early gear in the game, while others will unlock some of the game’s numerous Vocations. Quests will be your best method of getting both experience and gold while constantly progressing through the game.
Dragon’s Dogma 2: Spellbound Quest Walkthrough
The Spellbound quest has you hunting down 5 grimoires across the world, but the Maister spells for Sorcerer and Mage are more than worth it.
One quest you will come across is “Home Is Where The Hearth Is” and will take place in both Melve and Harve Village. This is a relatively simple quest, but you may find yourself unable to process it and be wondering what is causing this issue.
Getting Swords For Lennart
Before you can start this quest, you will first need to have completed the following previous quests:
- Seat of the Sovran (main quest)
- Scaly Invaders (side quest)
- Readvent of Calamity (side quest)
Upon completing Readvent of Calamity, you will need to bribe a guard in order to get back into the Melve region — doing so will cost 5000 G. Once you have made your way back into Melve, head to Ulrika’s House to speak with Lennart. Just like with the Claw Them Into Shape quest, you will need to go get four swords for Lennart. These swords can be purchased, or obtained as loot from enemies.
The added weight of these swords might way you down, but luckily there is an item that can help with that — the Ring of Profusion. This ring is one of the numerous rewards you can get from collecting Seeker Tokens. Once you have the swords, head back and hand them over to Lennart and proceed outside.
Speaking With Ulrika
You will encounter a group of enemies outside, but do not worry, after fighting for a while they will retreat. You will now be tasked with reporting to Ulrika in a few days time. This means you will need to progress time until she appears, but there is one more thing that will need to be done before you can continue with this quest.
You will find Ulrika standing on the wooden dock off the beach of Harve Village. However, she will not appear here until you have completed the side quest, “Trouble on the Cape” first. If you have not been to Harve Village and have already helped Lennart in Melve, complete Trouble at the Cape before you progress this quest. This should have Ulrika appear at the docks as intended for you to continue this quest.
After speaking with Ulrika, she will ask you to return at night, meaning you will need to progress the in-game time once again. Return to Ulrika on the docks once it is night and this will trigger a cutscene. Once the cutscene is over, this quest will be completed.
