Best Decks For Boost Fields Event

As we begin a new week today, Clash Royale players have a brand-new event to play and grind for Season Tokens. This week, Supercell welcomes you to the Boost Fields event, where you are about to fight against other players on a battlefield that lacks something important: the river.

Clash Royale: All Tower Troops, Ranked

Now that Clash Royale players have Cannoneer as a new Tower Troop, everyone’s wondering if it is worth changing their tactics.

In every Clash Royale battle, a river splits the battlefield into two sides, connected via two bridges, and that is the only way for ground troops to invade the opponent’s field. Aside from a handful of troops that can jump over the river, most ground troops have no other way than the bridge. Now, if we remove the bridge from the battlefield, this will surely become a heaven for ground troops, as they can push from any side toward the opponent’s Crown Towers. This is the exact challenge that you are going to face in the Boost Fields event.

Clash Royal Phoenix-1

While the overall match rules are similar to a simple Ranked match, there are some limitations and enhancements. Instead of a river, there is now a boost drop in the middle line of the battlefield that spawns spells like Rage, Invisibility, Clone, and Health. Each troop that passes through the spell first, activates it for their side.

On the other hand, each player has a smaller share of the battlefield for deploying troops and placing buildings. Unlike normal battles where you could place buildings just behind the river in the middle of the battlefield, you will now have a much shorter range to deploy cards, which makes it quite hard to kill annoying troops like Princess. As a result, every deck does need a spell or a long-range attack.

Firecracker And Prince Deck

  • Firecracker (Elixir 3) [Evolution Spot]
  • Tesla Tower (Elixir 4)
  • Furnace (Elixir 4)
  • Knight (Elixir 3)
  • Mega Minion (Elixir 3)
  • Prince (Elixir 5)
  • Dart Goblin (Elixir 3)
  • Barbarian Barrel (Elixir 2)
  • Average Elixir Cost: 3.4

Furnace plays a massive role in this deck, especially when you step into the Double Elixir phase. Since there are unlimited straight lines for the troops to move forward in this event, the units will scatter around the battlefield, making room for smaller troops like Fire Spirits to move ahead without much distractions.

Prince, on the other hand, is another great pushing unit, especially if you spawn it on the edge of your phone’s screen either far right or far left. Also, make sure to couple it with a Firecracker to keep spam away. Dart Goblin can also be another company for the duo to fight distractions off from a distance.

Bomber And Bandit Deck

  • Bomber (Elixir 2) [Evolution Spot]
  • Zap (Elixir 2)
  • Magic Archer (Elixir 4)
  • Executioner (Elixir 5)
  • Bandit (Elixir 3)
  • Royal Ghost (Elixir 3)
  • Tesla Tower (Elixir 4)
  • Barbarian Barrel (Elixir 2)
  • Average Elixir Cost: 3.1

With this deck, you should carefully scatter your units in different lines. Except for Tesla Tower, Zap, and Barbarian Barrel which serve for defensive scenarios, the rest of the deck are great choices for pushing, but you should always keep in mind that Magic Archer must stay behind your front troops to support them and deal indirect damage to the crown towers.

Absorbing the field boosts, especially the invisibility boost, is quite crucial in this deck as it can give you a sheer winning edge over your opponent, regarding the fact that most of your troops can deal a significant amount of damage to the crown towers in a short period.

The Boost Fields event will be available until next Monday. It will also turn into a challenge this weekend to offer even more Season Tokens.
