Triple H reveals that WrestleMania plans were in place for him before his health issues

During today’s episode of First Take on ESPN, Stephen A Smith showed part of his interview with WWE Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy and Development and WWE Icon Triple H, in which Triple H revealed a lot of his health issues over the past few months and what lies in store for him moving forward. . During the conversation, he also said that he’s now retired from indoor competition, although he revealed that before his health fear he spoke with Vince McMahon about doing something at WrestleMania 38, and there were even plans for it, but those were closed after he was hospitalized.

“As far as in the episode, I’m done,” Triple H said. “I will never wrestle again. First of all, I have a defibrillator in my chest, which you know, probably not a good idea for me to put it on live TV. But I was already as far away as my career in the ring where I was kind of What… I was comfortable with finishing it off.”

“If the right thing came, I didn’t really say much, but if the right thing came and they wanted me to do it… I had a conversation with Vince McMahon about doing something at WrestleMania this year in Dallas, which we talked about and there were plans for it. Obviously when this happened, it all shut down,” Triple H said.

Even without doing anything in the ring, WWE is an organization that’s constantly on the move. Triple H said, “In terms of the schedule, WWE is an intense place, 24/7, a lot like you running. I think he set the record straight for me.”

Triple H didn’t go into detail about what those plans were or who they were involved in, but it’s easy to see him involved in any number of scenarios. We’re just glad Triple H is starting to feel more like him, but as mentioned in the interview, it’s still not 100%. We hope he’s back to 100% soon, and we wish him all the best.
