Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns has received some NBA MVP love from his teammates.
When it comes to the names that have been linked with the NBA MVP for the 2021-22 season, Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers and Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets have been consistently brought up. One of the names that has gained some momentum for the award is Devin Booker’s top-ranked Phoenix Suns.
On Thursday night, the Suns Nuggets defeated 140-130 behind Booker’s phenomenal 49-point performance. It was also the Phoenix’s 60th win of the season, increasing their lead over the Western Conference.
Booker received some support for the NBA Most Valuable Player award from fellow guards Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets and Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies.

Booker is the top scorer in the best team in the entire league. Of course, that will hold some interest for those looking for the best potential players in the NBA, considering the playoffs are on the horizon.
The Suns goalkeeper scored his 49th with a 16-for-25 shot from the field and 15-for-17 from the free throw line. Booker also had a double by scoring 10 assists. In addition, Booker scored four rebounds, three steals, and one block.
Over the course of the year, Booker averaged 26.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.0 assists through 63 games, while he has a field goal percentage of 46.2 and 3 percentage points of 37.5.
After the Nuggets game on Thursday, March 24, the Suns have eight more games left in the regular season. It will be interesting to see how Booker performs during this stretch and whether it will help propel himself to the top of the NBA MVP ratings.
