Marvel Studios’ Moon Knight starring Oscar Isaacs is now streaming on Disney+, and Funko did the usual thing and marked the occasion with Bob. However, Funko Pop portrays the character as he appeared on the cover of Marvel Spotlight on the Moon Knight: Enter the Conqueror-Lord Vol. #1 #28 from 1976 – Moon Knight’s first solo appearance. Pre-orders are here at Walmart Now for $19.99 with a September release date set.

This does not mean that we are complaining. The Moon Knight Funko Pop comic looks great, but there was a suspicious lack of related Disney + Moon Knight merchandise that led to the show’s launch. Basically, the T-shirts have been the full story so far, which is unusual for a Marvel debut like this. Overall, we see some action figures and such a launch from the likes of Hasbro and Funko before any big premiere.

Disney+ is probably more secretive than usual. Epidemiological manufacturing bottlenecks may have caused delays. Whatever the case, we wouldn’t be surprised to see the Moon Knight’s merchandise (especially Funko Pops) fall off as the show progresses, so stay tuned to the Gear section for more updates in the coming weeks. We may see more today. Funko works in mysterious ways.

The new Moon Knight Funko Pop character is set on the back of a comic book cover, and everything is packaged in a hard protective case that you can hang on the wall. While you’re pre-ordering it, you might want to check out the Amazing Fantasy #15 Spider-Man Comic Cover Funko Pop that dropped last week if you haven’t already secured one for your collection. The Moon Knight series synopsis on Disney+ reads:

The synopsis reads, “The series follows Stephen Grant, a mild-mannered gift shop employee, who suffers from blackouts and after-life memories.” “Stephen discovers he suffers from dissociative identity disorder and shares the body with mercenary Mark Spector. As Stephen/Mark’s enemies converge on them, they must navigate their complex identities while being pushed into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.”

Moon Knight Episode 1 is now streaming on Disney+, and new episodes will be released every Wednesday. You can follow all the news from the series here.
