Ezra Miller: Restraining order against ‘Flash’ actor has been dropped

A temporary restraining order against “The Flash” star Ezra Miller was dropped, less than three weeks after it was served, and Miller was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and harassment in Hawaii.

According to the Associated Press, a judge rejected the restraining order on Tuesday after a request from the Hawaiian couple who filed it on March 29. The restraining order alleged that Miller broke into the couple’s bedroom and threatened them, and alleged that Miller stole some of the couple’s belongings, including their passport and wallet.

The actor was arrested in Hilo, Hawaii, on March 28, the day before the restraining order was issued. According to a post by the Hawaii County Sheriff’s Department, South Hilo officers responded to a report by a disorganized bar patron. The police decided that Miller had gone unruly while other patrons sang karaoke and started shouting profanity. Miller grabbed the microphone from a woman singing karaoke and rushed toward a man playing darts.

After he was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and harassment, Miller paid bail of $500 and was released from custody. According to Assistant Hawaii Police Chief Kenneth Kiucho, Miller has been the source of 10 police calls in Hilo since March 7.

The arrest came before Warner Bros. was released. Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, in which Miller plays a supporting role. The film premieres in the United States on April 15. Miller is also known for playing the superhero Flash in the “Justice League” movies. After several delays, a standalone “Flash” movie is scheduled for release on June 23, 2023.
