Vice President Kamala Harris got an A in Words

Everyone seems to be obsessed with Wordle, the daily five-letter puzzle that has become a total sensation and that “everyone” includes Vice President Kamala Harris. Harris is an avid gamer, and it turns out she has an excellent score in the often challenging game, with an unbroken solving streak. In a recent interview with ringerHarris revealed that her current streak at the time was 48 and that her perfect streak is one she intends to keep.

“I have 100 percent, and I intend to keep it that way,” Harris said.

In the interview, Harris explained that she has a specific strategy she uses when dealing with her Wordle puzzle. The cum starts each puzzle with the same word every time: Notes. It’s a word that gives her a “healthy mix” of consonants and vowels to work from. She also said that playing the game is a “brain cleanser” for her.

“Wordle, to me, is like a brain cleaner,” Harris said. “So in the middle of very long days, back-to-back meetings on a lot of intense issues. If I have a break, let’s say people are late or I have lunch for 25 minutes, sometimes when I’m eating, and I’ll figure out the Wordle.”

Doug Imhoff, Harris’ husband, plays Wordle, and she said they talk about their games, but when it comes to chatting about puzzles with friends or even talking about them on social media, it’s not something she can do. Secret Service security restrictions prevent such things.

“No, because my phone doesn’t let me do that,” Harris admitted. “My phone does not allow me to send messages to anyone, which is sad.”

As for Wordle itself, there have been a number of recent puzzles that have been exceptionally challenging to many players and have broken many lines, but today’s puzzle (April 20, 2022) is a relatively straightforward puzzle, something that players might put you at ease.
