‘FBoy Island:’ Tamaris, Mia and Louise Break Down Finale Twist

brake alert: This piece contains spoilers for the ending of “FBoy Island,” which is now airing on HBO Max.

Just as “FBoy Island” stars Mia Emani Jones, Louise Barnard, and Tamaris Sepúlveda prepared to make their final decisions, host Nikki Glaser presented the three leading ladies with a surprising third option: They couldn’t choose either of the two remaining men, and instead $100,000 for themselves.

In the end, Tamaris chose only the money, while Mia and Louise bet with FBoy racers Mercedes Knox and Peter Park, who both chose to split the prize money with them.

Chat with the ladies diverse Before the end of the season to reflect on their experiences, and provide an update on their love life.

Louise remembers her last decision: “I had in the back of my head, ‘Maybe I should screw it up before it bothers me.'” But I had a feeling that would be awful for Benedict, because it’s also a great choice. And so I decided that it wouldn’t make sense for me to take the entire $100,000.”

Mia came close to accepting the money, revealing that it took more than 40 minutes to make the call. “I thought about it: Dental school. A house. A camel. But I was like, ‘No, I can’t take it away from either of them.'”

Then there are exercises. “I was like, ‘Can I see myself with these guys in the future? It was never about the money, because regardless, I was going to have $50k. I was going to win,” she says. “To be honest, I wasn’t in love. If I was in love, and these girls felt like these guys, it would have been a different story. But I wasn’t, so I had to choose myself. I can’t accept any less.”

Tamaris said she intends to pick Casey before revealing the sprain. “A lot of people love Casey,” she says, expressing her fear of how fans would react to her choice. “For the second year in a row, he was the runner-up! And he came as a nice guy! They will hate me, but that is totally fine. Some people will either love me, or they will hate me. It was my decision.”

“All you need to know is we never get stuck in a bag,” Mia adds, preempting any fan fears that the ladies had no interest in money. “We’ll always make sure we’re all in great shape before anything else. So fussing with a bag would be horrible. And that’s not what we are. We are strong, independent women.”

The women worked as a team all season, exchanging information and supporting each other. But when it came to the final choice, they were separated all day, left to make their own decisions. While they all ended up cashing in, Mia and Tamaris said they were afraid for Louise. “When I heard the name Mercedes, I wanted to die in a chair,” Mia recalls.

“I was going to stand up,” Tamaris chimed. “Mia and I are going to beat him up!”

Louise says her heart “melted” when he split the money, but watching his believers was “frustrating” for her.

“He was like this Cheshire cat,” she says. “I found out he has this temper and everything. But I didn’t see any of that. When I watch her again, I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I look like an idiot.’ I really look like I’m falling for all these tricks.”

As for their current relationship status: It’s complicated. “Obviously we’re going to celebrate the closing together, so he’s coming to Miami,” Louise says. “We took a short break after the show, because there was a lot of pressure to work things out. And then – I don’t know. We’re on good terms, but it’s kind of in the air now.”

In the Air, too: Mia’s relationship with Peter. “Peter and I are now too much…” She fumbles and pauses before continuing. “What do we call it? Friends. I talk to Peter maybe once or twice a month. But we both understand current situations — he lives in Washington and I’m in Miami studying at dental school. So it won’t work, because we are both F.”

Mia feels she deserves some credit for persuading the last two FBoys to share the money with her:”Hey, you love who you love! I love FBoys. I will continue to be toxic, and I hope my relationships and love of life will bring people joy. You gotta give me credit, I can fix FBoy! “

However, she kept in touch with runner-up Danny. “We fell a little bit down after the show, because obviously I didn’t split the money with him. And that kind of hurt his feelings, because he actually cares about me. But I guess I can tell that Danny and I are friends. We talk almost every day. But who knows?”

As for the future of the franchise as a whole, the three ladies say they’d like to see the roles reversed with “FGirl’s Island.”

“Damn yeah!” tamaris screams. “I was going to teach these little girls how to be truly FGirl. “
