Jose Enrique reacts to some early Liverpool squad news ahead of Monday’s trip to Manchester United on Twitter.

With Darwin Nunes suspended and Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino missing Monday night’s draw with Crystal Palace, it was thought the Reds would not have a recognizable number nine for the trip to Old Trafford.

Liverpool have dropped four points from their first two Premier League games and Manchester City – who travel to Newcastle on Sunday – will likely go seven points clear on Jurgen Klopp’s side by the time they face the Red Devils.

A win away to Manchester United is essential for Klopp, but it now looks a little more likely.

That’s because Goal reported that Firmino will be available for the clash despite missing the Palace clash earlier in the week.

Liverpool team news

It’s no secret that Anfield still has more injury concerns.

For example, their midfield is decimated with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Curtis Jones and Thiago Alcantara still sidelined, while recent speculation over Naby Keita may make Klopp reluctant to start such a massive game as rumors swirl about his future.

However, Firmino’s presence is a potential game-changer for Liverpool, who won 4-2 at Old Trafford a couple of years ago – and the Brazilian scored twice.
