Jonah Hill is facing serious health issues. In her new story, Stutz, the Look Up star shares her unique therapy sessions and reveals her long-running battle with psychological episodes.
With the doctor set to be sent along the fall film festival circuit, Hill wrote an open letter to explain why he won’t be taking the initiative with standard media appearances.

“Through self-exposure within the film, I realized that I had been experiencing psychological episodes for nearly 20 years, episodes that were exacerbated by media exposure and events that went against the public,” he says in a statement created for Deadline.
“I’m grateful that the film will have its world premiere at a major film festival this fall, and I can’t wait to introduce it to so many groups around the planet, assuming it will help those involved. Regardless, you won’t find me out there promoting this movie or any of my upcoming movies while I’m following this formidable method of self-preservation.
If I had really undermined myself by going out there and putting it forward, I wouldn’t have played the role that was expected of me or the film,” he continues. “With this letter and Stutz, I hope to make it more common for people to talk about it and make the rounds. In this way, they can make progress towards feeling more evolved so that they can better understand the problems of the people in their lives.
Despite Stutz, Hill will additionally step back from promoting his various endeavors. Among them: the upcoming Netflix parody You People, which he co-produced and stars in.
The announcement comes as Hill was featured in a Vanity Fair oral history on the fifteenth anniversary of the 2007 youth comedy Superbad. In that conversation, she gifted the screen to Emma Stone in her part-show and explained why she initially found Christopher Mintz-Plasse “disturbing.”
“Chris was incredibly confused. “Like, I think he really bothered me at the time,” she said.
“Jonah hated him very quickly,” said Seth Rogen. “He was like that,” preoccupied my way of thinking. I could not perform with that person.”
Judd Apatow said that Mintz-Plasse bought McLovin’s piece.

“I’m actually considering living with Emma,” Hill said of her former on-screen love Stone, who dyed her hair red for the role.
“Everything revolved around who made each other laugh and who could bring each other together and come up with something that would break everyone,” Stone said. “Yunus was sweet to me from the beginning. Likewise, he is a particularly fun and respectful person to work with.
