It’s almost time to head back to Middle-earth. Amazon Prime Video’s highly anticipated new Lord of the Rings series, “The Rings of Power,” arrives to air on September 2.

The fantasy series is one of Amazon Studios’ most ambitious projects to date, and it actually broke records before its release. Not only was it said to be the most expensive TV series ever produced (Amazon seems to have been bombed close to $715 million for all eight episodes), but the show’s first trailer garnered an unparalleled 257 million views when it debuted at this year’s Super Bowl, more than any Super Bowl trailer in history.

Given the hype, millions can be expected to fit in with the new Tolkein mod when it finally hits the streaming device this week.

When do the rings of power appear?

The first two episodes of “Rings of Power” will arrive on Amazon Prime on September 2 at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET and will continue to be released on a weekly basis until its conclusion on October 14.

What is the topic of “Rings of Power”?

Directed by models J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay, The Rings of Power takes place during the Second Age of Middle-earth, thousands of years before the “Lord of the Rings” films, and will tell the story of the formation of the Rings of Power. Swaron returns to Middle-earth. While the new series will introduce back stories to familiar characters like Galadriel and Elrond, played by Morfydd Clark and Robert Aramayo respectively, it will also introduce new faces like Dwarven Prince Durin IV (Owain Arthur), Princess Disa (Sophia Nomvete), Numenoreans Isildur (Maxim Baldry) and Ellendel. (Lloyd Owen).

Fans of the series might be more excited about the storyline presented to Elrond, one of the most revered characters in the epic saga of Tolkein. After tapping Aramayo to play a younger version of the crucial character, he delves into the traditions of Middle-earth – including supplemental materials such as “The Silmarillion” and “The History of Middle-Earth” – to study the full history of Elrond.

“You’ve had one of those moments when everything in your body feels like you’re on electricity,” Aramayo said. diverse Earlier this month announced his selection. “I was shocked and surprised and felt really, really honored that they would consider me for him.”
