Deputy Omar Ursin: Ahsim Taylor Jr. and Jayland Walker charged in death of off-duty Harris County Precinct 3 officer’s murder!

Atascocita, Texas (KTRK) – The sheriff’s office said two suspects have been arrested in connection with the death of an off-duty constable in Harris County 3 after he was shot while driving home.

Ahsim Taylor Jr. and Gayland Womack, both 20, are charged with the murder of Representative Omar Orsen.

Representative Orsen was killed while driving home from dinner for his family on Sunday, August 28. The shooting occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. at the 11900 block of Madera Run in the Atascocita area.

According to the authorities, a dark-colored sedan with tinted windows was towed next to Ursin and several shots were fired from the driver’s side. Ursin was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.

Records show that both suspects were out on bail for separate murders when the shooting took place.

Womack and Taylor will be booked into the Harris County Jail.
