After decades on the small screen and two back-to-back health scares, Sig has hinted he’s ready to retire. In a 2019 interview with Entertainment Weeklythe captain revealed that he does not hesitate to pass Northwestern to Mandy and Clark.
“Mandy and her husband can take it and run,” he told the outlet. “They’re young, they’ve got this. For me, you’re done. I walked out the door with a foot. My mindset is different than it was 20 years ago. You just have so many opportunities. I hope it makes sense.”
