ABC, Vice Lead 2022 News Emmy Award winners

ABC and Vice tied for the most wins, at 8 each, on the first night as the news segment of the 43rd Annual Emmy News and Documentary Awards was distributed at Palladium Times Square in New York City.

Jodi Woodruff, broadcaster and editor-in-chief of “PBS NewsHour” has been honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award. The award was presented by Robert McNeill, co-founder and former presenter of NewsHour.

“Tonight’s Emmy winners exemplify broadcast journalism at its best, stating that true values ​​outweigh fiction, accountability over advocacy, and championing the advancement of truth for the benefit of the communities we all serve,” said Terry O’Reilly, Natas Chairman.
