Gersh appoints Sandra Lucchesi and Matt Vioral as partners

Gersh Agency has promoted literary agent Sandra Lucchesi and talent agent Matt Vioral to Partners, expanding their total leadership to 28 people.

Gersh, which ranks as the only privately owned full service agency, is making the move amid consolidation and a rapid transformation of the representative landscape. A spokesperson said diverse Elevations “highlight the strength and history of our resources while advancing our business around multi-link customers.”

Agency co-chairs David and Bob Gersh, along with managing partner Leslie Seibert, said they are “very proud of the leadership that Sandra and Matt have brought to the agency and their respective departments and how well they are respected by their industry peers. We are pleased to promote both to be partners.”

Lucchesi has participated in award-winning films, and is represented by notable writers and directors such as Andrea Arnold, Academy Award winner Kevin Wilmott (“BlacKkKlansman”), Richie Mehta (“Hope”), Anna Kunkle (“Plus One”), Vera Herbert (“This Is Us”), David Seidler (“The King’s Speech”), Karen Janszen (“A Walk to Remember”), Angela Workman (“Zookeeper’s Wife”), and Daniel Stiepleman (“Based on Gender”). I graduated from the University of California at Berkeley.

Vioral began his career at Gersh and worked as an agent for over a decade. Recently appointed as a member of AMPAS, his clients include “It” children Jacob Elordi from “Euphoria” and Joe Kerry from “Stranger Things”, Haley Lu Richardson, Ryan Eggold, Jason Isaacs, John Cusack, Mekhi Phifer, Kerry Bishe, Aisha Dee and Alexander Drymon, Sacher Zmata, and Daniel Sonata. He attended the University of California, Los Angeles.

Gersh counts about 150 agents across offices in New York and Los Angeles.
