Ed Sheeran documentary in the works

A documentary on Ed Sheeran’s life and career is in the making.

Sheeran explained to Britain’s The Sun: “We’re shooting a documentary at the moment about my life, and there’s been a great conversation about what we’re including.”

The singer toured for most of 2022 in support of his latest record “=” (although the tour has been described as the Math Tour, given that the 31-year-old artist has released albums with titles that are math icons). The tour began in April in Dublin, Ireland and will end in September 2023 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

Sheeran outlined some of the criteria he and his team have in mind for what will be included in the documentary: “As long as it’s honest and relates to the theme of something that’s in a song – there’s no point in putting something in it if it’s harmful to my life.

“It’s a very fine line, which is why I live in Suffolk and not L.A. My life is turned on as a celebrity when I’m in New York, but at home I’m a friend, dad, husband, and son.” “You can’t bring celebrity luggage home.”

Sheeran is no stranger to being on camera, he previously appeared in a short film on “Game of Thrones” in 2017 and played a fictional version of himself in Danny Boyle’s 2019 Beatles movie “Yesterday”.
