Now that the calendar reads 2023, a whole new slate of movies is on the horizon. One of the first releases of the new year is Paramount’s Sixth scream, the next entry in the decades-long slasher franchise. To celebrate the holiday, the movie’s marketing team released one of their best teaser posters yet. Paying homage to the New York City subway maps, the teaser details every character killed throughout the history of the franchise.
On the label, each line represents a specific movie while each stop represents one of the characters killed in each movie. It’s worth noting that the murder of Kirby Reed (Hayden Panettiere) was officially redrawn on the poster since it’s surprising. Sixth scream return. See poster below.

Why is Kirby coming back? scream 6?
According to Panettiere, she was the one who set the wheels in motion for Kirby’s return to the franchise after she was apparently killed off in scream 4.
“I called them myself and said ‘So… you don’t want to bring Kirby back, do you?'” ” Good morning America. “I wanted to be in it that bad.”
Why scream 6 Set in New York?
In an interview earlier this year, New Scream Star Melissa Barrera said he believes moving to New York ultimately made the franchise scarier given the scope of the city.
“It’s, like, 20 times more deadly. It’s horrific,” Barrera shared collider Venture to a new location for the franchise. “Because you also see how, in a city like New York City, everybody’s doing their own thing and someone’s screaming for help, and nobody’s coming to help them. Nobody’s coming to help them, you know, like, everybody’s like, ‘I’m not getting into that.'” It hurts, being chased away by Ghostface, but you also get to see humanity and how that reacts in a situation like this. Anyway, I think I’ve said a lot already.”
