Looking ahead to the 2023 NFL season, we’re trying and anticipating a handful of quarterbacks that could be traded, including Derrick Carr.

Moving on to the wire this NFL season, it’s about time we start looking forward to some potential offseason storylines.

In recent years, fans have seen a lot of quarterback action with a slew of big names on the go over the past two or three seasons. Next spring, things shouldn’t be any different.

With free agents like Tom Brady, Lamar Jackson, Daniel Jones, and Jimmy Garoppolo, among others, the quarterback market is set to be an interesting one, to say the least.

Aside from free agency, though, we’ll see some potential additional action with two quarterbacks on the chopping (or trading) block. There are a few names that could end up being cut or traded, depending on the scenario, and we’ll start with one of four players on the roster who didn’t have the start he was hoping to get into the league.

NFL quarterbacks who could be traded in the 2023 offseason: Zach Wilson

Perhaps the most visible quarterback to leave his current team via trade, right now, is New York Jets second-year pro Zach Wilson. At this point, it’s pretty clear that so are the Jets Going to move on.

Wilson’s story hasn’t been as positive this year, as we’ve seen him wallow in his press conferences as he single-handedly instills less and less confidence in himself via his teammates.

While the Jets appear to have solidified Mike White as their starter for the rest of this season, they may end up deciding to try a veteran coming off the season. Their roster is well designed for the immediate future, and the addition of an experienced quarterback could be the thing that puts them over the hump in 2023.
