Golden Globes: Variety production of the official digital show

diverse and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) co-produce and broadcast the official digital preview of the 80th Annual Golden Globe Awards.

The red carpet pre-show will be broadcast on Variety.com and its social media platforms as well as 20 locations in PMC’s portfolio. diverse Senior Culture and Events Editor Mark Malkin and Senior Correspondent Elisabeth Wagmeister will host the festive carpet, interviewing Hollywood’s biggest stars from film and television attending the Golden Globes. The pre-show will air at 3:30 p.m. PT / 6:30 p.m. ET and includes exclusive footage of the stars’ arrival on the red carpet, as well as conversations with the Golden Globe nominees with diverse editors.

The introductory show will also be broadcast on Golden Globe website.

Jerrod Carmichael hosts the Golden Globes broadcast live from coast to coast on January 10 from 5-8pm PT / 8-11pm ET on NBC and streams on Peacock. As previously announced, six-time Golden Globe winner and nominee Eddie Murphy 2023 Cecil B. DeMille Award recipient. Five-time Golden Globe winner and 16-time nominee Ryan Murphy will receive the Carol Burnett Award.
