We meet Dr. Petra Dupree in Episode 9, “This Could Be the Beginning of Something New” and what we immediately learn is that she is amazing. Along with Crockett, Jack, and Sharon Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson), Dr. Dupree is at the hospital for the grand opening of OR 2.0. Although Crockett will be head of the new surgical wing, it would not exist without its creator, Dr. Dupree, who provides an explanation and demonstrates his ability.
