Ubisoft’s XDefiant is having a cross-play testing session this weekend

Today’s generation and PC gamers will get to experience XDefiant together.


Ubisoft’s upcoming free-to-play shooter XDefiant will get its first inside cross-play session this week. Starting February 16th, participants will be able to try out the game on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X | S or PC with cross-play enabled. The testing session will be available through February 20th, with a particular focus on cross-play connectivity checks and the console experience.


The first session of XDefiant in 2023 will include four different game modes as well as 13 maps. Keep in mind that participating in a test session will require signing a non-disclosure agreement, which prevents users from sharing any game screenshots online. The testing session will begin on February 16th at 1pm EST / 6pm GMT and will end on February 20th at 2am EST / 7am GMT. Unlike previous playtest sessions, your experience will not be limited to 3 hours. Before the matches begin, participants will have a 15-minute warm-up time to prepare everything for the experience and ensure they are familiar with how the game works.
