Google Pixel 7a leak shows three new colors and protective cases

There isn’t much left to know about the Google Pixel 7a, as most of the details about the smartphone have been leaked, leaving very little to the imagination. Despite this, it could become one of the best cheap Android phones in the market when it is released. The phone will reportedly debut next month during Google I/O 2023 and will be available immediately after the event. Today, we’re getting a new batch of renders that show off three Pixel 7a colors and also give us our first look at the protective cases that will be available for the phone.

Pictures come from WinFuture.de, a website with a fairly reliable track record in the past, has been known to get its hands on official promotional photos and displays early. This time, a full gallery has been introduced showing the Pixel 7a in three colours: Charcoal, Snow and Sea. Although it was reported that there will be a fourth option with the Coral variant, this model has not been photographed and will be exclusive to the Google Store. For the most part, the Pixel 7a looks similar to the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, offering a relatively familiar design, but having a somewhat unique look on the back with its large camera strip.

When we look at the protective case for the Pixel 7a, we can see that it is pretty similar to what you find for other Pixel phones. In terms of colours, we get the same three colors matching the phones with Charcoal, Snow and Sea. Case pricing has yet to be shared, so it looks like we’ll at least have something to look forward to when the accessories are officially announced.

When it comes to the Pixel 7a, the phone is said to be powered by Google’s Tensor G2 processor and the source reports that it will arrive with 8GB of RAM and will have two storage options of 128GB and 256GB. The Pixel 7a will reportedly have a better display than its predecessor, as it comes with a 6.1-inch 90Hz AMOLED display made by Samsung. In terms of pricing, it was reported to come in at $499, which is $50 more than the Pixel 6a. With all that said, we don’t have long to wait, as Google I/O 2023 is scheduled for May 10, where it will debut the Pixel 7a and possibly the Pixel Fold.
