In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Link can come across a huge variety of sets of armor to wear. (35 sets of armor, to be exact). So it comes as no surprise that some of these groups are well hidden and hard to find unless you know exactly where to look.
One such set is the Wind Shield set. This look is based on Link from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. You can get this item using The Wind Waker Amiibo. The collection can be found in the deepest depths in the game. With such a vast area to explore, it’s no wonder the group is so hard to find. Here is a guide for each piece.

Wind shield set
The Armor of the Wind set is one of the most basic sets Link can find. It offers 9 basic defense, with each piece offering 3 basic defense. The group could be improved on Great Fairy Fountains, although it will cost some star fragments. (Star shards are required for all armor sets based on ancient links). The group does not stop anything for a specific reward. However, once you improve to level 2, the full combo will give you the Boost Attack bonus. It also cannot be dyed at Hateno Village Dye Shop.
Wind cover location
Wind cap can be found at An unnamed location just below Davdi Island. The entrance to this region of the deep is the Tingel Island Chasm on Tingel Island. Unfortunately, there are no Lightroots in this area. However, lighting the Sisinatag Lightroot in the other area of The Depths will allow you to light this area. This Lightroot corresponds to the rooftop shrine of Gatanisis. You will find many rock walls that you have to break through while traveling from the bottom of Tingel Island to the bottom of Davdi Island.

windbreaker
Windbreaker can be found at Coho Canyon Mine. This is located just below Mount Coho. The closest Lightroot is Kataki Lightroot, which corresponds to Ikatak Shrine. The closest chasm is the Hyrule Ridge Chasm. It is located south of the abandoned Hebra Mine, however, you cannot access this location from there.
windbreaker It is located in a chest inside the center of the mine.
Wind pants
The last piece of the set is located inside Chrysia pit mine. This is located below Soka Point near the village of Lurelin. The closest Lightroot is Mimufis Lightroot, which corresponds to Sifumim Shrine. The closest gap is Meda Mountain Chasm.
Once you get to the mine, you will need to build a boat using the available Zonai devices. After that, you can travel to the end of the mine and find a chest containing a file Wind pants.
