After months of painstaking waiting, the first week of the 2022 NFL season has finally arrived. Only five days period, and like that, it’s over now.

NFL fans will now have to wait two agonizing days before football returns, so in the meantime, here are a few highlights that capture the essence of week one.

There was a kicker carnage mitigated by a two-kick save winning the game. There have been revenge games in revenge games, and not everyone has retaliated in the way you might imagine – but some players certainly did.

Then there were the plays to live for: the user lurks with game-changing objections, celebrations, convictions, missed contacts, periods of relegation triumph, and everything in between.

It was a sight to behold, and the photographs allow some of the best moments to live forever. Here are ten moments from week one for the NFL that are worth looking back at.

Wilson has had his fair share of hits, and we’re not just talking about his offensive streak (which, by the way, has ridiculously improved in Seattle since his departure).

No, Wilson has been slapped time and time again for being tacky, with everything from calling himself “Mr. Unlimited” to playing pretend during a thumb injury last season.

But “Let’s Ride” trumps it all: It’s the unbearable Ross cheese that has faded in Seattle. Somehow, it’s worse now.

Impossible to tell what Ross was thinking at this moment, but close his eyes and spread his arms as he emerges from the darkness to embrace the light… Do we really need that heavy metaphor to rebrand your Broncos, Ross?

Like raunchy Aaron Rodgers before the game before facing the Vikings, this became even more delicious in losing.
