A week after the launch of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro, Apple released a new update to iOS 16. The iOS 16.0.2 update brings some specific bug fixes for the iPhone 14 Pro, along with some general fixes for other iPhone devices. The update also contains a bug fix for older iPhones like iPhone X, iPhone XR, and iPhone 11.
With iOS 16.0.2, Apple has been able to address some of the very serious and important issues that have been highly invoked over the past week. The camera issue affecting iPhone 14 Pro models has now been fixed. Additionally, Apple has also addressed a copy-and-paste error that asked for permission every time you tried to copy something from one app to another. The new update also fixed an issue that hampered the setup process, where the screen suddenly turned black and became unresponsive. Additionally, it also addressed an issue where VoiceOver becomes unavailable after restarting. Furthermore, older iPhones like the iPhone X, iPhone XR, and iPhone 11 also received a fix for a strange bug that left screens unresponsive after being serviced.
The update is available over the air and can be downloaded directly to your iPhone by heading to the Settings menu. By heading to the General section and proceeding to the Software update menu, you should see the update automatically pop up on the screen. The update isn’t very big, coming in at 352.7MB, so it won’t take long to download. Likewise, the update does not take long to install, lasting for a few minutes, followed by a reboot. Just make sure your iPhone is charged before performing the update. Apple is working hard on iOS 16 updates, last week it introduced update 16.0.1. The update fixed some activation and migration issues, soft images from the camera app when zooming in/out, and login issues for enterprise apps.
