The Celtics don’t have any big-name agents, but there will almost certainly be some changes to their roster after a disappointing loss in the NBA Finals. These three men may not return.

Despite losing the NBA Finals, the Celtics have every reason to be optimistic about the upcoming season. All their basic pieces Still under contract And some of their most important players – Jaylen Brown, Jason Tatum, Grant Williams and Robert Williams – are still young enough to make a big development in the future.

However, the team will certainly be looking to make some off-season upgrades and that could mean some roster points are empty. Here are some of the players we’ve seen wearing the Celtics jersey this season and probably won’t be back.

3. Nick Stauskas’ revival may be over

Nick Stauskas’ appearance has been a moment of pure joy this season. “Sauce Castillo” as he was known early in his career has not played in an NBA game since the 2018-19 season. But he caught fire first with the Miami Heat on a 10-day contract and then with the Boston Celtics, appearing in six games for a total of 15 minutes. The 28-year-old winger was the No. 8 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft and started his career with the Sacramento Kings, moving to four other teams before eventually traveling abroad.

Stauskas is under contract for next season as well, at just over $2 million, but that contract isn’t guaranteed and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Celtics either using it as a paycheck in the trade or simply giving it up to clear the roster spot for someone else. It was fun while it lasted but we may have seen Stauskas in Celtics outfit for the last time.
