Pearland, Texas (KTRK) – Animal services were called when a staff member at Pearland heard a cat asking for help. A Chick-fil-A employee of 1512 Broadway said they could see and hear the cat, even though the cat was scared and out of reach. The cat was frightened and trapped in the rainwater drain. Dayton, Texas (KTRK) – Authorities have rescued dozens of emaciated farm animals on a property in Liberty County, according to the Houston Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The video above shows authorities removing farm animals from the scene. Galveston, Texas (KTRK) – Two stranded bighead turtles have been rescued after they were spotted on Galveston Island, according to Gulf Center for Sea Turtle Research.
