KYLIAN MBAPPE’s mother has demanded a £125m fee be signed by Real Madrid to end her son’s transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.
Mbappe has been Real’s first goal in months and the striker appears keen to move to the Santiago Bernabeu after refusing to renew his contract with Paris Saint-Germain to be a free agent in June.
A deal appeared close between Los Blancos and the France international, but talks reportedly hit a strange speed bump.
This is because the 23-year-old’s mother, who is also his agent, appears to be playing hardball with Real Owner Florentino Perez.
Eduardo Enda, director of OK Diario, told El Chiringuito: “Mbappe will be a Real Madrid player.
But his mother continues to play hard to ask for a signing bonus of 150 million euros, which Paris Saint-Germain is giving him.
“But when you negotiate with Florentino, he only has two options: lose or lose.
“Real Madrid is the only big team that has made money in the last two years.”
This comes after reports two months ago suggested that Mbappe was on his way to a staggering £800,000-a-week deal with Real Madrid.
This means that the Frenchman will receive 41.6 million pounds a year in the Spanish capital.
